Chris made dinner tonight - I had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of this meal. A couple of years ago, my parents bought Chris the book that the guys from Queer Eye put out - it was sort of a joke, but the book's actually a fantastic resource for guys who want to live well. Among all the sartorial and cultural advice there's a terrific chapter on cooking dinner for your significant other, including recipes.
This risotto is one of those recipes. It's written in plain English, the steps are simple and the final product is utterly divine. We've made it together once before - I did the prep work and Chris cooked it. Tonight, he did it all himself, and I couldn't be prouder. Or fuller. Ooof. It was delicious. So without further ado, I give you Risotto: a dinner in four photos.

Next week I'm starting him on soufflés. Just kidding.
